Israel–Hamas War: Iran has warned Israel. Iran said that if the ceasefire talks in Gaza fail, Israel will be attacked. Many media reports are claiming that a senior Iranian security official has issued a warning to Israel.

Iran’s security official said that if Israel’s ceasefire talks with Hamas in Gaza fail, Israel will be directly attacked. Talking to Reuters, a security official said that Iran along with its allies including Hezbollah will attack the Jewish state.

Ismail Haniya mentioned

Iran expressed hope that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should come forward for a ceasefire. Three senior Iranian officials told Reuters that Iran is very angry over the killing of Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh in late July. It was told that only a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas can stop Iran’s attack.

Iran and Britain held talks

There was a conversation between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer late on Monday (August 12). During this, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian raised the issue of the murder of Ismail Haniya.

Masoud Pezeshkian said that nations have the right to respond punitively to the attacker. Pezeshkian said that punishment will help prevent crime and aggression and it should also be seen as a solution. During this, both the leaders also emphasized on restoring peace in the region and the world as well as strengthening bilateral relations.

Hamas refused to participate

According to media reports, on Sunday (August 11) Hamas said that it will not participate in the ceasefire talks with Israel. Hamas said that unless the mediators present a plan regarding the previous ceasefire talks, there is no point in participating in the talks. Let us tell you that the talks can start from Thursday (August 15).
